Welcome to my blog, my name is Anna. I am a heritage professional from Scotland. I am currently working on my MA in Heritage and Exhibition Design at Edinburgh Napier University. I created this site to document my experience.
I am using each blog post to discuss my projects and reflect on what I have learned and achieved in each module. The aim is to create a resource that I can use to help showcase my work and skill development.

About me...
Born and raised in Edinburgh, I was also fortunate enough to study here. I completed my undergraduate degree in Archaeology at the University of Edinburgh in 2021. Since 2022, I have been working as a castle steward for Historic Environment Scotland, where I have gained experience in on-site heritage operations and visitor engagement.
I made the decision to go back to school last year to complete a Master's in Heritage and Exhibition Design, of which I am half way through. I am enjoying the challenges of my return to academia and the creative freedom I have within the course. This blog is designed to help me keep a digital diary of my work and projects, and add to my portfolio as time goes on. I am excited to share history through the use of design, interpretation and storytelling.
